Even More Planning

Clothes

Choose your ideas for clothes for your main star. What will they wear on Cover, Contents and DPS. Take photos of the outfits or similar ones from shopping websites. Write why you have chosen these images.

You also need to do this for your second and third models (Remember need at least 3 separate image for your contents page!)

Hair & make Up
Same as Above.

Location
Where are you going to do your photoshoots? Take photos of the locations and state what you lie/dislike about them.

Model/Hair/Makeup test shoots
Test shoots of what your models look like wearing clothes/makeup and at locations. You could record a video of these shoots and upload to blog.

Equipment Chosen
What equipment are you using – Trpods, Cameras, Props? Photos and why you are using them

Schedule
A schedule – Google for examples – I would do in word and upload a printscreen

Health & Safety /Call sheet
Google for examples – I would do in word and upload a printscreen. A call sheet is specific day schedule so makes sense to combine it with a H&S form.

FlatPlan
What is going on every page of mag? Google for examples

Interview/Article written
Write your DPS article – Can be an interview, review or on tour with.

Designs
Hand drawn Cover, Contents and DPS

Evaluation

1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? (i.e. of music magazines)

2. How does your media product represent particular social groups ?

3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

4. Who would be the audience for your media product?

5. How did you attract/address your audience?

6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

7. Looking back at your preliminary task (the school magazine), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to full product?

Evaluation

You should be finishing your construction now and getting ready to start putting together your evaluation, if you haven't already done so.

Your evaluation MUST answer the following questions in detail and be presented in an original and creative way - not just typed up in sentences:

Check out this section of Pete Fraser's blog for some inspiration as to how you may present your evaluation:
